Workshop description

A seriously playful learning experience that enables you to:

  • Understand the emotional responses that arise in high-pressure situations and their impact on decision-making and team dynamics.

  • Practice regulating unhelpful reactions in order to foster a more composed, focused team environment.

With its focus on experiential learning rather than deep theoretical explanations, the workshop will see participants walk away with at least one actionable step to help their team stay resilient, collaborative, and goal-oriented under stress.

This is the second workshop in the agile organisations motivation module. As it builds on the frameworks introduced in Workshop 1, “Motivation: what lies beneath?”, participants are required to have attended Workshop 1.

As a 1-hour session, it’s suitable for lunchtime learning or any time during working hours.

Content covered

  • Reflex reactions in the workplace: what, when and why?

  • Strategies to regulate unhelpful reactions

  • Building individual and team resistance to triggers

Who should attend

Business executives who understand the fundamentals of motivational needs and:

  • Want to better understand how stress and emotional triggers affect decision-making, collaboration, and team dynamics.

  • Have ever struggled to maintain focus and composure—both personally and within their teams—during high-pressure situations or periods of change.
